Learn how to create a simple yet elegant wedding invitation.
First cut a piece of white pearl card measuring 6.5″ x 6.5″, a piece of gold pearl card measuring 6.25″ x 5.75″ and a piece of blue card measuring 6″ x 5.5″. Also cut an 8″ length of ribbon.
To align the corner die, lay the piece of gold pearl card on top of the white pearl card with an equal border along the top, bottom and right side. Then lay the length of ribbon in place on the left side leaving the same amout of border. Place the die on the gold pearl card and hold down with low tack tape, then run through the die cutting machine to cut out.
Using double sided tape, stick the blue card behind the gold pearl card, then mount onto the white pearl card.
Then, using a high tack double sided tape, stick the ribbon length down the left side and fold over the back.
Mount the layers onto the 7″ x 7″ card blank using double sided tape.
Next, die cut the wording out of gold pearl card and the outline shadow out of blue card. Then using wet glue, stick the wording onto the shadow and then onto the card front.
Finish with a ribbon bow and self adhesive blue gems.
