How to make a Star card
Let the stars shine out on this striking greetings card with an Distress Oxide background.
First cut 2 pieces of watercolour card both measuring 9.5cm x 14cm. Press the Distress Oxides Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean onto your messy mat and spritz with water. Then take one of the pieces of watercolour card and lay this onto the inked area and dry with a heat gun.
Repeat the inking process on the other piece of watercolour card with Mustard Seed and Twisten Citron.
Next, using Archival Ink, stamp the Scripted Stars onto the centre of the blue inked card.
Stamp the same stamp onto the yellow inked card and cut out a selection of 6 stars.
Line the cut out stars up with the blue inked background and glue in place.
Then take a strip of black card, use Versmark ink to stamp the greeting, cover in white embossing powder and heat with a heat tool.
Cut a piece of black card measuring 10cm x 14.5cm and glue the blue stamped image onto it. You can then glue this onto the card blank.
Using foam pads, mount the greeting onto the front of the card. To finish, you can add some self adhesive crystal gems.
